The company says the drinks contain "higher levels" of chlorate, but says the risk is "very low".
* Coca-Cola has recalled its drinks in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands due to higher levels of chlorate.
* Affected products include Coke, Fanta, Sprite, Tropico, Minute Maid, and Appletiser brands.
* Chlorate can be produced when chlorine-based disinfectants are used in water treatment and food processing, and exposure to high levels can cause health problems including thyroid issues, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and limiting the blood's ability to absorb oxygen.
* The UK's Food Standards Agency is investigating and Coca-Cola has alerted authorities on the matter.
* A small number of imported cans with production codes from 328 GE to 338 GE have been affected in Great Britain.
