The firm says it will more than double its capacity for bespoke paint orders for wealthy customers.
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will invest £65m to expand its bespoke paint services due to increasing demand from wealthy clients.
* The investment will cover opening new paint facilities in Castle Bromwich, UK and Nitra, Slovakia.
* JLR expects to double its bespoke paint operation, allowing customers to match their vehicle's color to other luxury items such as private jets or yachts.
* The move is similar to Rolls-Royce's £300m investment in customizing cars for super-rich clients.
* Director of special vehicle operations Jamal Hameedi said the plan will meet growing demand from Range Rover clients and others.
* JLR also aims to reduce energy and water use, as well as paint waste, through this expansion.
