Barclays tells staff to come into the office more

The bank is the latest company to make changes to its working-from-home policy.

* The bank's hybrid working model has been in place since the Covid pandemic, but it is now increasing minimum time spent in-office for many employees.
* Front office or client-facing staff are already required to be in the office five days a week.
* The policy change comes as several other major companies have announced similar moves, including JPMorgan and Lloyds Banking Group.
* Barclays' spokesperson said the bank recognised the benefits of balancing flexibility with collaboration in physical locations.
