* He wants workers, including apprentices, to return to the office and "get their bums back into the workplace".
* He describes Brexit as "the biggest disaster in [his] lifetime" and thinks rejoining the EU might help the UK out of its current trouble.
* He is skeptical about using artificial intelligence (AI) and views it as "a bit cheating" when used to write CVs or big oneself up.
* However, he makes exceptions for software writers who need to work late at night and those with physical disabilities.
* He believes apprentices learn best from their colleagues in a traditional office setting and that interaction with older colleagues is crucial for learning.
* He also thinks the current "zoom culture" is lacking in face-to-face interaction.
