Tue, 11 Mar 2025 Nationwide customers to get £50 each after Virgin deal

More than 12 million members will receive the money directly into their accounts by the end of April.

* have an active account
* have a mortgage or savings with Nationwide
* are under 18 (or 21 if an adult)
* are not part of a business or commercial account About four million customers will not receive the payment, including those from Virgin Money and those whose accounts do not meet the above criteria. Members will be notified by letter how they will receive their £50 by the end of April, either directly into their bank account or by cheque.
