Bedford Credit Union is running the events to help people cope with the cost-of-living crisis.

* Two events will be held: one on March 29 at Harpur Suite, Bedford and another on April 12 at Parkside Hall, Ampthill.
* The events aim to help people struggling with rising prices and lift the taboo of saving money and being thrifty.
* The fair will feature: + Advice and tips from local and national organisations, charities, and community groups + A free mini repair shop hosted by Bedford Repair Café and Share: Flitwick & Ampthill + A library of items that residents can rent for a small fee instead of buying them (Share Bedford and Share: Flitwick & Ampthill) + Craft and book swaps + Representatives from Citizens Advice, banks, housing groups, job advice, and family support groups.
* The events are not just for those on low income but for anyone feeling the pinch in their pockets.
