People coming into Great Britain can no longer bring cured meats or cheese from the EU following an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease.
* Temporary ban on bringing cheese and meat products from EU due to foot-and-mouth disease outbreak
* Applies to Great Britain, but not Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, or Isle of Man
* Restricted items include cured meat and cheese in sandwiches, regardless of packaging or duty-free status
* People can bring up to 2kg of powdered infant milk, infant food, or special medical food per person
* Products seized and destroyed if brought into UK; fines of up to £5,000 for serious cases
* Government says restrictions are necessary to prevent spread of disease; industry leaders welcome move but criticize Brexit-related bureaucracy
