The UK demanded in January that porn sites show how they were beefing up age verification to stop children accessing them.
* Ofcom has launched investigations into two pornographic websites, Itai Tech Ltd and Score Internet Group LLC, due to concerns they may be violating child safety rules.
* Both companies failed to provide information on how they prevent children from accessing their platforms despite requirements to implement "robust" age-checking techniques by July under the Online Safety Act.
* Firms found in breach of the Act face significant fines.
* Many adult websites have complied with the regulations and provided details of age assurance methods, while some have blocked UK users entirely to prevent children's access.
* The two companies being investigated did not respond to Ofcom's request for information or provide plans to introduce age checks.
