India's foreign minister countered Trump saying "nothing is decided till everything is".
India's foreign minister S Jaishankar has disputed US President Donald Trump's claim that India has offered to drop all tariffs on goods imported from the US. According to Jaishankar, talks between the two countries are ongoing and "nothing is decided until everything is". This contradicts Trump's earlier statement, where he said Delhi had offered a deal with no tariffs. The US and India are negotiating a trade agreement, which must be mutually beneficial for both countries, according to Jaishankar. He emphasized that any judgment on the deal would be premature until it is finalized. Meanwhile, Apple has announced plans to shift iPhone production from China to India, while Vietnam will be a major production hub for other Apple products. Trump had previously expressed concerns about building in India due to its "high tariff nation" status.
