Fri, 16 May 2025 Tesco apologises after software issue hits website and app

The company apologised to customers after its app and website went down on Friday afternoon.

* Customers being unable to process changes to online orders
* Difficulty accessing Clubcard details and collecting points or using vouchers while shopping Tesco said the problems were caused by a software issue that has been resolved, but customers experienced intermittent system issues for around 4 hours.
