The media giant will separate its studio and streaming business away from its cable TV networks.
* The new Streaming & Studios company will include HBO Max's hit shows such as Succession and The Last of Us, Warner Bros' film division, and be headed by David Zaslav.
* Global Networks will comprise CNN, Discovery, TNT Sports, and other traditional cable TV brands, led by chief financial officer Gunnar Wiedenfels.
* Analysts see the split as a way to make each company's value easier to determine.
* The move follows Comcast's decision to spin off its NBCUniversal cable arm last year.
* Warner Bros Discovery's stock fell 3% on Monday, with shares down over 10% this year.
