Most dads in the UK get two weeks off work after their baby is born, but dads in many European countries get more.

* Sweden: Parents can share up to 480 days of parental leave, with 90 days reserved specifically for each parent.
* Denmark: Dads are entitled to 2 weeks' paid paternity leave, but many take more time off to care for their child.
* Poland: Dads with full-time jobs can take up to 9 weeks of parental leave at 70% pay.
* Germany: Dads get a "Daddy Month" – 30 days off just for them.
* France: New dads are entitled to 16 days' paternity leave, plus an additional 11 months of parental leave that can be shared with the mother.
