Thu, 26 Jun 2025 Over £9.3m announced to support Surrey households

A total of £9,324,930.29 will be available to support residents facing financial hardship.

* Food vouchers during school holidays: £4,100,000
* Food banks and similar organisations: £1,700,000
* Surrey Crisis Fund for emergency financial aid: £750,000
* Poverty prevention initiatives: £548,000 A new scheme is being developed to provide additional HSF funds, with applications expected to open later this year. The allocation represents a 12% reduction from previous rounds of funding, aimed at optimising spending.
