Parents say the sale is great value especially as children grow so quickly out of expensive uniforms
The initiative was launched by Rebuild With Hope and will be held at various locations throughout the year. The sale offers a range of uniforms and shoes at extremely low prices, with one shopper buying 14-year-old clothes that would normally cost £20 for just £2.
The charity's chief executive and founder, Louise Atherton, said they were inspired to start the initiative after noticing that families in disadvantaged communities couldn't afford basic items. She added that so far, over 2,000 families have benefited from the sale, buying an average of five or six items each.
Atherton also stated that the initiative has not only helped families but has also raised awareness and profile for the charity.
