Mon, 07 Jul 2025 Maternity brand worn by Kate enters administration

Consultancy firm Interpath confirmed that it had been appointed as administrators by maternity brand Seraphine.
Maternity fashion retailer Seraphine has ceased trading and entered administration due to "trading challenges" caused by "fragile consumer confidence". The company, which was founded in 2002 and briefly listed on the London Stock Exchange, has made redundant the majority of its 95 staff. Interpath consultancy firm has been appointed as administrators and is exploring options for the business and its assets. Seraphine's popularity was boosted when Catherine, Princess of Wales, wore its maternity clothes during her pregnancies, but sales have since declined due to economic challenges such as rising costs and consumer uncertainty. The company's website was offering 60% discounts before going offline following the appointment of administrators.
