Thu, 10 Jul 2025 Cost of living payment brought forward for 2025

The £516.50 Community Costs Bonus is brought forward from autumn to July.
The Jersey government is bringing forward the Community Costs Bonus payment, originally due in autumn, and will now be paid out in July. Eligible applicants, who must have lived on the island for at least five years, pay less than £2,735 in tax, and not receive income support, can expect a one-off payment of £516.50. The bonus has been extended for another year with an estimated £2.2m allocated from existing departmental budgets to support it.
