Thu, 24 Jul 2025 Government raises maximum price for wind energy

The government increases the maximum price it will guarantee wind farm developers for electricity.

* Maximum guaranteed price for offshore wind: £113 per megawatt-hour (up from £102)
* Floating offshore wind: £271/MWh (up from £245)
* Onshore wind: £92/MWh (up from £89)
* Solar energy: £75/MWh (down from £85)
