The government says the agreement will support thousands of jobs, including more than 2,000 in Scotland.

* £10bn deal signed for UK to supply Norway with at least 5 Type 26 frigates
* Deal will support 4,000 UK jobs and over 400 British businesses
* Frigates will be built at BAE Systems' Glasgow shipyards
* Agreement represents the UK's "biggest ever warship export deal by value"
* Norway says it is its largest "defence capability investment" to date
* Type 26 frigates will have same technical specifications as those used by British navy and will detect, track, and destroy enemy submarines
* Deliveries expected to begin in 2030
* Deal will create a combined UK-Norwegian fleet of 13 anti-submarine frigates operating jointly in northern Europe
