Mitchum said a change in the manufacturing process had affected some of its roll-on products after users complained of soreness.
* Mitchum deodorant has apologized after some customers reported experiencing itchy, burning armpits and irritation after using their roll-on products.
* Customers on social media described symptoms such as "agonizing weeping spots", redness, and chemical burns on their skin.
* The company attributed the issue to a change in the manufacturing process affecting 100ml batches sold in the UK, Ireland, and South Africa.
* Mitchum has removed affected products from shelves and is advising customers to contact its customer services team for compensation.
* One customer, Steph Buttery, had to switch deodorant brands after developing an itchy red rash and said she will never use Mitchum again.
