Wed, 10 Sep 2025 Samantha Cameron's fashion label Cefinn to shut

The womenswear brand says higher costs and tough trading conditions have taken their toll.
Cefinn, the fashion label founded by Samantha Cameron, is closing down due to rising costs and international trading restrictions. The company has been operational for 8 years but has struggled with increased expenses and changing shopping habits. Lady Cameron stated that she had taken the decision "not lightly" despite recent strong sales figures. The online shop and two physical stores will remain open for a few months to sell remaining stock, before ceasing operations permanently. Cefinn's products are designed by Samantha Cameron and priced at the higher end of the market, with items ranging from £150-£300. Experts attribute the closure to the niche market that Cefinn catered to, as well as increased costs for staff wages, National Insurance, and tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump.
