* The situation is "extremely bewildering" and if Korean firms can't send workers to help set up overseas factories, establishing manufacturing facilities in the US will become more difficult.
* Seoul is negotiating with Washington for visa options for South Korean workers, including securing higher quotas or creating new categories.
* The White House instructed the pause of workers' departure to check if they were willing to remain in the US and continue working and training Americans.
