* Production has been halted at Solihull, Halewood, and Wolverhampton plants since September 1.
* Some data may have been affected by the hack, but it's unclear who is impacted - customers, suppliers, or JLR itself.
* Staff are being told not to come into work until Wednesday at the earliest, resulting in over two weeks of lost global output.
* Dealerships and garages have struggled with disruption due to the closure of production lines and IT networks.
* Suppliers have also been badly affected by the cyber attack.
* A group called Scattered Lapsus$ Hunters has claimed responsibility for the hack.
* JLR has admitted that some data may have been stolen or viewed by third parties.
* The company is working with regulators, including the Information Commissioner's Office and the National Cyber Security Centre.
* Business minister Chris Bryant has met with JLR's chief executive and the Department of Business and Trade is in daily contact with the company.
