It's understood that production will resume at the Wolverhampton engine facility on 6 October.
* Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will resume production at its UK facilities in the "coming days" after a cyber-attack forced it to shut down on September 1.
* Manufacturing will initially restart at the engine facility in Wolverhampton on October 6, with other plants following in a phased approach.
* Production lines are not expected to return to full capacity for several weeks.
* JLR is working closely with cybersecurity specialists and law enforcement to ensure its IT systems are secure before restarting production.
* Companies in JLR's supply chain have welcomed the news, but many smaller firms remain at risk of bankruptcy due to losses caused by the stoppage.
* The UK government has announced a £1.5bn loan guarantee for JLR, which will provide financial assistance to support suppliers and ease cash flow.
* The funding will be used to help JLR pay its suppliers, but it is up to those businesses to pay their own suppliers.
* JLR's spokesperson thanked everyone connected to the manufacturer for their patience and understanding during this time.
