Wed, 01 Oct 2025 Toy maker Jellycat plans to pay owners £110m after profits double

Jellycat's viral cuddly toys are sold all over the world and made the company £139m last year.

* Jellycat plans to pay its owners £110m in dividends, a 75% increase from last year's £63m
* The company has more than doubled its annual profit to £139m, up from £67m the previous year
* Revenue increased by 66% to £333m for the year to 31 December
* Jellycat is sold in 80 countries and its popularity on social media has been a major factor in its success
* The company's growth can be attributed to a rise in adults buying toys for themselves, as well as its interactive pop-up experiences such as diners and patisseries
* Chief executive Arnaud Meysselle said the company will continue to "bring more characters to life"
* Founder Thomas Gatacre stated that Jellycat's mission is to "create joy" and be the most loved soft toy company in the world.
