Thu, 09 Oct 2025 ID photos of 70,000 users may have been leaked, Discord says

The platform says hackers targeted a firm that helped to verify the ages of its users.
Discord, which has over 200 million users worldwide, says hackers targeted the third-party company but did not breach the platform itself. The leaked data may include personal info, partial credit card details, and messages exchanged with customer service agents. However, Discord claims no full credit card details, passwords, or other sensitive info were compromised. The company has contacted impacted users and is working with law enforcement to investigate the breach. Discord has also revoked access for the targeted customer support provider and says it will not reward those responsible for their actions.
