Asahi is still investigating the full impact of the attack which stalled all its Japanese production.
Asahi, Japan's largest brewer, has revealed that personal data may have been stolen during a recent ransomware attack that disrupted its beer production and operations. The company has partially reopened its 30 factories in Japan and restarted production, but computer systems remain down. Asahi is investigating whether personal information was compromised during the attack and will notify those affected if confirmed. The company's Emergency Response Headquarters is working with cybersecurity experts to restore its system as quickly as possible.
