Ed Miliband says the UK's clean energy sector needs developing in order to "get bills down for good".
* 400,000 extra clean energy jobs to be created by 2030
* 860,000 people expected to work in renewable, wind, solar and nuclear sectors by 2025 (double current number)
* 31 priority occupations identified for recruitment: plumbers, electricians, welders, etc.
* £2.5m funding allocated to five "technical excellence colleges" to train clean energy workers
* New program launched to match veterans with careers in clean energy
* Up to £20m available for oil and gas workers to retrain in clean energy roles
* Schemes planned for ex-offenders, school leavers, and unemployed individuals
* 10,000 extra jobs needed to support Sizewell C nuclear power station construction
* Average salary in clean energy sector: over £50,000 (compared to UK average of £37,000)
