A new centre in Belfast will provide free, high-quality tuition and wellbeing support to pupils across the city.
A new education centre in Belfast will provide free transfer test tuition and wellbeing support to primary school pupils from low-income families. The Foodstock Education and Empowerment Centre aims to improve outcomes for children from disadvantaged backgrounds by offering high-quality tuition in English, Maths, and reasoning. The centre is situated in the city centre and has a cross-community approach, making it accessible to all children who need help.
Private tuition can increase the likelihood of attending a grammar school, but disadvantaged children often cannot afford it. Foodstock's programme aims to level the playing field for children across Belfast by providing equal opportunities to those who are less fortunate.
