Wed, 29 Oct 2025 Jersey inflation rises to 2.8%, report shows

The report says the increase is due to the rising costs of food, driving and leisure.
Prices in Jersey rose by 2.8% over 12 months, with food, driving and leisure costs increasing significantly. According to Statistics Jersey's latest Retail Prices Index (RPI) report, tobacco was the largest spending group affected by inflation, followed closely by leisure services and motoring. The RPI figures will be used to inform decisions on pensions, benefits, and business planning.
