Wildlife trusts attempt to raise £30m to keep Northumberland's Rothbury Estate from being split up.
* £30m target set by conservationists to buy Rothbury Estate
* Current fundraising amount: £8m (from donations ranging from £5 to £5m)
* Remaining funds needed: £22m
* Timeframe: 1 year left to raise remaining funds, or risk estate being broken up and sold off
* Plans for the estate:
+ Boost wildlife populations
+ Restore bogs and habitats
+ Promote nature-friendly farming
+ Introduce large herbivores (ponies, hardy cattle, potential bison) for natural grazing
+ Potential recolonization of pine martens, beavers, and golden eagles
* Sir David Attenborough's message: "Please help us make this vision a reality"
* Conservationists hope to create a 40-mile "wild" corridor from coast to Scottish border
