Fri, 31 Oct 2025 Disney pulls channels from YouTube TV over fee dispute

ESPN, ABC and other Disney channels will not be available to YouTube TV subscribers.
YouTube TV has lost access to ESPN, ABC, and other Disney channels due to a licensing deal dispute between the two companies. Disney claims YouTube TV refused to pay fair rates for its content, which also includes National Geographic and the Disney channel. In response, YouTube TV says Disney's proposed terms would disadvantage customers while benefiting Disney's own live TV products. The blackout affects around 10 million subscribers. If the channels remain suspended, YouTube TV will offer a $20 credit. Both companies are working to resolve the issue, but they remain divided on fees.
