Fri, 31 Oct 2025 Post Office justice measures could include special stamp for victims

Restorative justice scheme for subpostmasters will offer face-to-face meetings with Fujitsu and Post Office executives.

* Victims of the Horizon Post Office scandal may meet face-to-face with Fujitsu and Post Office representatives as part of a restorative justice effort
* The first five months of the scheme will be an initial pilot phase, but it is hoped that it will last for 5 years and include extra initiatives such as a special commemorative postage stamp
* Restorative meetings could start as early as December and would bring together sub-postmasters, Post Office executives, and Fujitsu representatives to address harm caused by the scandal
* The process is voluntary, but victims can request specific individuals to attend, including former Post Office executives
* This marks the first time that Fujitsu representatives will be involved in restorative meetings with sub-postmasters affected by the scandal
* The goal of the scheme is to rebuild trust and support among sub-postmasters and their families and create a safe space for them to share their stories and begin healing.
