More than 80 Warm Welcome spaces are now open at various locations across Surrey.
Over 80 "Warm Welcome" spaces are now open across Surrey, offering free hot drinks and socializing opportunities during winter months. These community hubs, including libraries, church halls, and community centers, aim to support those affected by cost of living pressures. The initiative, in its fourth year, is available from Saturday until the end of March. Councilor Mark Nuti stated that the goal is to ensure no one has to feel alone in a cold home. He added that these spaces not only provide warmth and companionship but also offer additional help and advice if needed.
