* China will ease its export ban on automotive computer chips, allowing production to resume at Nexperia's facilities in China.
* The chip shortage could have led to temporary shutdowns at car plants, including Volvo Cars and Volkswagen.
* Beijing will pause export controls on rare earth minerals for a year, which are vital in the production of cars, planes, and weapons.
* The US will lower tariffs on fentanyl, with China agreeing to take "significant measures" to deal with the issue.
* China has committed to buying 12 million tonnes of US soybeans in the last two months of 2025 and 25 million metric tonnes each year for the following three years.
* The agreement also includes a commitment from China to resolve "major trade issues", including the supply of materials used in fentanyl production.
