Shein, a major online retailer, has permanently banned the sale of sex dolls on its platform worldwide after being accused of selling products with a "childlike appearance". The company removed all listings and images related to the sex dolls, temporarily took down its adult products category, and vowed to strengthen controls on sellers. Shein's executive chairman said the fight against child exploitation is non-negotiable for the company, adding that they are tracing the source of the issue and will take swift action. The decision comes after France's consumer watchdog raised concerns about the dolls' description and categorization, calling it "child pornography".
