In the 2023 remarks from the King he said AI was "no less important than the discovery of electricity" but warned the risks must be tackled.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has revealed that King Charles III personally handed him a copy of his 2023 speech on artificial intelligence (AI) safety at an event in St James's Palace. In the speech, the monarch emphasized the need for urgency and collective strength to address AI risks. Huang described the King as being "deeply concerned" about AI safety and stressed that he believes in the technology's potential to transform the world.
