An election to replace the Guernsey ESC committee is likely to take place on 27 November.
Deputy Jayne Ozanne has announced her resignation from the Committee for Education, Sport and Culture (ESC) due to "personal reasons". She will remain Vice-president of Employment and Social Security and a member of the Transport Licensing Authority. Deputy Haley Camp has expressed interest in filling the vacancy, with an election expected on November 26. If elected, Camp would have to resign from another committee. Ozanne praised her colleagues' leadership but stated she wants to focus on helping islanders affected by the cost of living crisis through cross-committee work and potential proposals. Potential replacements for Ozanne will need a proposer and seconder to be considered for the position.
