* The company has been operating four aircraft for KLM Cityhopper in Europe and had faced financial challenges since the Covid pandemic due to falling passenger numbers
* Eastern Airways was one of the last remaining regional airlines in the UK, with bases at Humberside Airport and several other locations across the country.
