Tue, 11 Nov 2025 Strikes at helicopter manufacturer to go ahead

Aerospace workers at the home of British helicopters will strike after rejecting the latest deal.

* 3,000 workers at Leonardo's UK factories will go on strike from November 12
* Employees have rejected a pay offer of 3.6% following an initial offer of 3.2%
* The Unite union says this represents a real-terms pay cut for workers due to inflation rate exceeding 4.5%
* Strike action is planned at all Leonardo factories in the UK, with multiple dates expected throughout November
* Leonardo has stated they are "disappointed" and will welcome further negotiations with the Unite union
