Mon, 17 Nov 2025 Food bank 'run off feet' as donations decline

The Isle of Man Foodbank has seen a hike in demand for help amid a marked decline in donations.
The foodbank is particularly struggling due to a lack of certain items such as jarred sauces, tinned food, and freeze-dried packets. Many of those helped may not have access to ovens or struggle with illnesses, making microwaveable or kettle-ready food essential. A supermarket donations drive in late November aims to boost stocks ahead of Christmas.
