Shares in the firm behind the highly-addictive children's song rose by more than 9% in their stock market debut.

* Pinkfong's shares rose by over 9% on its stock market debut, giving it a valuation of over $400m.
* Baby Shark is credited with becoming a global phenomenon and laying the foundations for Pinkfong's success.
* The song has been viewed more than 16 billion times on YouTube, making it the most-watched video ever.
* Pinkfong now has around 340 employees and offices in Tokyo, Shanghai, and Los Angeles.
* The company has plans to expand its line-up of films and characters using the $52m raised from its stock market debut.
* Analysts note that Pinkfong must prove its success is not just reliant on Baby Shark, as the song currently accounts for about a quarter of its revenue.
