Fri, 21 Nov 2025 Barber to offer 'pay what you can' haircuts

Marcus Lewis-Roper says people can pay whatever they want on 22 December.
Marcus Lewis-Roper's MLR Adonis Barbers will be open longer hours on 22 December, from 09:00 to 21:00 GMT, for the special event. Bookings for 30-minute slots can be made via a system in place, ensuring each person has their own private time for the haircut. People who book a slot don't have to pay if they don't want to; instead, they can choose to pay as little as £1 or the full price of the haircut. Long-standing clients have even offered to pay for other people's haircuts on the day, in an effort to support the community.
