The pop star took action after tickets for her US tour were resold for 14 times their original cost.
* Olivia Dean has spoken out against the concert ticketing business, calling it "exploitative" and "inequality-ridden".
* Some resale tickets for her North American tour were listed at over 14 times their original face value, with prices reaching $1,000 or more.
* Ticketmaster announced that they will cap future resale rates for Dean's tour and refund fans who already paid a markup to resellers on the platform.
* Dean responded by urging the music industry to make live music "accessible for all" and calling for artists to be granted the option to cap resale prices at face value.
* The UK government has recently confirmed plans to make it illegal for tickets to be resold for more than their original cost, in response to an open letter from music industry professionals.
