The food bank's plea for donations comes as figures showed rising demand across the West Midlands.
* Over 61,000 emergency food parcels were delivered to people in the West Midlands between December and February.
* Demand for food parcels increased by 27% compared to pre-pandemic levels last winter.
* 22,000 of these parcels were for children, a 19% increase from 2019/2020.
* The Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank urgently needs donations to continue helping those in need during the colder months.
* Donations are down while costs are up, with food banks in the West Midlands spending an estimated £315,000 on food.
* Sophie Carre from Trussell Trust said tens of thousands of families will be forced to turn to a food bank for the first time this winter.
