Fri, 12 Dec 2025 Gatwick Airport drop-off charge rises to £10

Drop-off fees will rise from £7 to £10 at the West Sussex airport from 6 January.

* Gatwick Airport's drop-off zone fee will increase by £3 on January 6, making the minimum charge £10.
* The airport blames increasing costs, including a more than doubling of business rates, for the price hike.
* RAC says this is the largest increase to date and represents a nearly 50% rise since the fee was introduced in March 2021.
* Gatwick passengers can drop off without charge in long-stay car parks and use a free shuttle bus to terminals.
* Blue Badge holders are exempt from the charge.
* Heathrow's drop-off fee is also rising, from £6 to £7 on January 1.
* London City Airport will introduce a drop-off fee later this month.
