The firm led by Baroness Mone's husband Douglas Barrowman breached a contract to supply surgical gowns during the Covid pandemic.
* PPE Medpro, a company linked to Baroness Michelle Mone's husband Douglas Barrowman, has been placed into liquidation after being found guilty of breaching a contract to supply 25 million surgical gowns during the Covid pandemic.
* The UK Government is unlikely to recover most of the £148m it is owed by PPE Medpro due to the company's "hopeless insolvency".
* HMRC is separately owed £39m in tax, but the administrators' report shows there is only around £600,000 available for unsecured creditors.
* Health Secretary Wes Streeting has vowed that the government will not rest until it recovers the money from PPE Medpro.
* The company was awarded lucrative contracts worth £122m to supply medical gowns to the NHS during the pandemic and gained access to the government's VIP lane.
* Baroness Mone took a leave of absence and lost the Tory whip following the PPE revelations, and Chancellor Rachel Reeves has urged her to depart the Lords altogether.
