Tue, 23 Dec 2025 Bet365 boss pay package rises to £280m

Denise Coates, the founder and chief executive of Bet365, is consistently one of Britain's highest-paid bosses.
Denise Coates, founder and CEO of Bet365, received a minimum pay package of £280m in 2025, making her one of Britain's highest-paid bosses for another year. Her total earnings increased by over two-thirds from almost £158m in the previous year, despite Bet365's profits dropping to £339m. Coates' salary was £104m and she also received at least half of the £354m dividend payment as a majority shareholder, which is around £177m. This brings her total earnings from Bet365 over the past decade to over £2bn. Campaign group High Pay Centre criticized Coates' pay as excessive and noted that her fortune comes from an industry that causes harm to many people.
