Nestle said it had received no reports of problems and was recalling the products "out of an abundance of caution".
* Nestle has recalled certain batches of SMA infant formula and follow-on formula due to potential contamination with cereulide, a toxin that can cause nausea and vomiting.
* The company says there have been no confirmed reports of illness associated with the products but is recalling them "out of an abundance of caution".
* Cereulide is produced by some strains of Bacillus cereus bacteria and cannot be deactivated or destroyed by cooking or boiling water.
* Affected customers will receive refunds, and batch numbers can be found on Nestle's website or through food.gov.uk.
* Parents are advised not to feed infants or young children the affected products and to seek medical advice if they have any concerns.
