* Ofcom launches investigation into X over concerns about its Grok AI chatbot altering images of people without consent
* X could face fines or even be blocked by internet service providers if found to have broken the law
* Government will enforce existing Data (Use and Access) Act, which makes it a criminal offence to create or request non-consensual intimate images
* Online Safety Act will also make sharing intimate images of people without their consent a priority offence
