The ailing shoe seller has found a saviour in Next's £2.5m pound offer.
* Next has bought Russell & Bromley out of administration for £2.5m, with an additional £1.3m for existing stock.
* The deal saves three stores in high-end locations and the brand itself, but leaves uncertain the fate of 33 remaining stores and around 400 staff members.
* Administrators are considering the future of these stores and concession shops, which may lead to further job losses or closures.
* Next has a history of rescuing struggling brands, including Seraphine and FatFace, and will provide operational stability for Russell & Bromley's next chapter.
